Solid-State Recording (SDHC)
The KPD-80 allows you to record high quality video and audio just about anywhere. This data is securely stored on a removable Micro SD card within the unit (4GB included, 16GB compatible). There are no moving parts in the KPD-80 which adds to its durability and reliability. The KPD-80 records in AVI format, so playback is possible in standard media players such as Windows Media Player, VLC, Real, Etc.
Voice Activated
The KPD-80 can be configured to record video manually, by the touch of a button, or automatically via sound activation. Simply turn the "VOX" switch on and the KPD-80 will initiate recording when it hears a voice. When recording manually, simply press the record button to start recording, and again to stop. The built-in LED indicator clearly indicates the recording status.
Doubles as a Web Camera!
By connecting the KPD-80 to your computer with the included USB cable, you can use it as a webcam for live online video conferencing via Skype, MSN, GoToMeeting, Gmail Chat, and more! The multiple mounting solutions included allow you to place the KPD-80 almost anywhere!
