Solid-State Recording, No Moving Parts
The SBX-3100 allows you to record detailed data throughout every drive. Using data directly from GPS satellites, the SBX records exact time and date, vehicle speed, vehicle direction, and latitude/longitude coordinates. This data is securely stored on a removable SD card within the unit (4GB included, 32GB SDHC compatible). Once you have recorded data, the Smart Black Box playback software enables you to search, view, report, and save the data to your PC. Video output allows drivers to attach an LCD screen for live video display and playback within the vehicle.
Easily Record Audio Outside the Vehicle, Up To 1000' Away!
The SBX-3100 allows you to integrate external audio onto the recorded video. Using KCI's own 2.4 GHz Audio Transmitter System the officer can record audio far from the confines of his vehicle. Simply attach the body pack transmitter to your belt or shoulder strap and you are ready to record. The transmitter can even trigger an alarm on the SBX software to initiate recording and indicate when the mic was on. The audio receiver mounts vehicle and also acts the transmitter's charger. A Li-ion battery provides 12 hour talktime & 20 days standby.
